For more than two decades Akhet Hwt-Hrw acted as an on-line school and temple teaching and practicing Ancient Egyptian magic through a series of books and courses. In 2010 we were forced to close due to the 'great' recession. Esoterica is please to announce that we will, once again, be offering the complete teachings of Akhet Hwt-Hrw. Revised and expanded, all material has been carefully researched and documented, drawn from academic sources, ancient texts and temple inscriptions.
Akhet Hwt-Hrw is an educational resource dedicated to the research, study and practice of ancient Egyptian wisdom with an emphasis on its magical techniques. Our research has involved drawing directly from temple inscriptions and papyrus texts, as well as the observations of respected Egyptologists and other academic sources.
As part of Esoterica, Akhet Hwt-Hrw offers a wide range of study materials and services, from books to the soon to be released, in-depth video based courses, as well as in person and virtual ‘real time’ classes and workshops.

Course Description
Egypt has long been considered to be the “mother of all magic” in the west, yet few people understand this rich system of the Art. We at Esoterica, are proud to offer Akhet Hwt-Hrw’s on-line video courses in Ancient Egyptian magical techniques. This first course lifts the veil of mystery surrounding the secret teachings of this great civilization. Fully documented and presented in easy to understand terms, this teaches essential elements that form the basis of Ancient Egyptian magic. Beginning with an overview of the history and development of magic in Egypt, the course quickly moves on to examine the mysteries and rituals surrounding more than sixty different Goddesses and Gods, the hidden meaning and purpose of the temples, the tools and sacred objects used in ritual, to the calculation of the many sacred festivals as tides of power to be used in magic and more.
Supported by numerous ancient texts as well as the research of academic sources, the Rekhyet course teaches the student how to employee these techniques in their life today. Each lesson, presented in easy to follow on-line videos, gives step by step instructions, including multiple rituals. You will learn how to create and consecrate your ritual space, make your own set of Egyptian tools, evoke different Gods and Goddesses, accurately calculate Egyptian tides of power, as well as perform many of the most secret and powerful ritual described in ancient texts.

Akhet Hwt-Hrw was formed in the late 1990's as an internet based school of Ancient Egyptian studies, as well as a functioning group earnestly practicing the magical techniques of this civilization. As we developed Akhet Hwt-Hrw became widely recognized with students around the world. In the early 2000's Akhet's founder, Kerry Wisner, wrote a series of three books (noted above) which outlined the basic teachings of the school. These books have gone on to continually sell from the date of their first publication.
During the great recession of 2010 – 2012 Akhet Hwt-Hrw underwent major changes. This including the loss of its internet website. Unfortunately the former website address has not become available.
Now, more than twenty years following Akhet Hwt-Hrw’s inception we are excited to announce the return of Akhet as an affiliate of this new website Esoterica. As the title implies Esoterica is dedicated to the study, research and practice of the esoteric arts including those which have their roots in Ancient Egyptian teachings.
